Our first experience as a band in an actual studio, RMIT's studio in their city campus. Also the only recording we did as a three piece, no Callan Fox, one guitar, no keys.

All but two of the tunes here appeared on later releases, two tracks ("The Careerist" and "You Know It's Never...") never saw release; perhaps because they were our shortest and longest songs respectively?

The whole thing is a little rough as we had never been in an actual studio before and our engineer was just getting into the whole recording thing himself. Just kids really (I was 22 at the time). Still the tracks have a little of the restless energy of a band just starting out, willing to try things and just see what happens.

Some of our gear was of questionable quality at this time and it sounds like it. We were youngsters and no-one should start out with fancy equipment.

A glimpse at that brief moment in time at the turn of the century when it all seemed possible; through the healing wash of delay and reverb, slow songs at high volumes, stamping of the feet and staring at the ceilings.

Thank you for listening.
