Polymoog / Korg MS 20 / Rhythm Ace Drum Machine / many soft synths (mostly Minimoog and Mellotron) / Rickenbacker 4003 / Fender Jaguar etc.

The terror of the call centre after dark.

The understanding that the more you try to perfect your body, the more your soul is being destroyed.

Recorded after our second album Poly and I decided to do a track obviously inspired by the classic 70's sound of Tangerine Dream, but without the finesse.

This recording has never been available anywhere else as, strictly speaking, it's not an International Karate track (only half of the band is on it) but - after listening to it recently - I think it stands up quite well, or as well as a naive attempt at something we only had an approximate idea how to do could.

You decide.

A glimpse at that brief moment in time at the turn of the century when it all seemed possible; through the healing wash of delay and reverb, slow songs at high volumes, stamping of the feet and staring at the ceilings.

Thank you for listening.
